Author

He has written articles for various publications, most notably the amazing “Fighting Arts International” and has been interviewed on various radio and TV shows around the world. He appeared on Spike TVs’ “Deadliest Warrior” in the penultimate episode representing the French Foreign Legion. Finally, he was a featured instructor with the now-defunct Paladin Press, where he had a series on French Foreign Legion unarmed combat.

Experience

As a martial artist, he is most famous for his practical experience. At age 16, he began working on the door of a particularly rough club. It was deemed rough because it was the city’s only strip club. That meant it had an all-male clientele and large groups turned up to celebrate someone getting married. During 6 years on the doors averaging 4 fights a night, it provided him with insights few others have. It was literally a test lab into what really works when it comes to violence and a lot of that experience was against multiple opponents.

Goals

He has a goal to teach half a million people self-defense before casting off his mortal coil through classes, seminars, DVDs, online courses, and books.  His personal theory is that if everyone in his community learned self-defense, the crime rate would be almost non-existent.

Currently

He currently teaches Warriors Krav Maga in Huntersville, NC.  When not at the school, he travels the US teaching seminars for martial artists, corporations on dealing with Active Shooters, and Executive Travel Security and law enforcement departments Dignitary Protection as well as Defensive Tactics.
